If you want to be able to pre-heat the engine as well as the interior of the vehicle while parking, you can integrate a water heater into the coolant system. The unit works like a central heating system and warms up the coolant. The cab gets heated to an optimum temperature and the engine gets pre-warmed. This also avoids cold starts, which are environmentally damaging and uneconomical.
