What is a Webasto thermo heater?
It is a small fuel powered furnace designed to heat water (water or coolant heater) or air(air heater). It operates as a pre heater –the vehicle can be switched off – and can be used to pre heat all water cooled vehicles or as an auxiliary heating appliances (boats, motorhomes etc). |

How does it work?
When the heater is switched on, a micropressor draws fuel from the fuel tank and burns fuel in a small combustion chamber, heating water or air. If it is an air heater, a fan then circulates the hot air for air heating applications. For the water heaters, a water pump circulates water independently of the engine. It preheats the engine and the vehicle interior. Thermoheaters work without the engine being switched on. |
